Prepare your priorities
Write down your must-haves and acceptable compromises. Bring the unit details and your questions so the visit stays focused.
Visit the actual unit where possible
Distinguish a sample apartment from the unit being offered. Note daylight, ventilation, layout, visible condition and your own observations.
Look beyond the front door
Inspect the route, parking arrangements, common areas and surroundings available to view. Ask which services are operational and which are only proposed.
Keep a record
With permission, take photos and note the date, unit and outstanding questions. Separate what you saw from what someone told you.
Follow up in writing
Request answers to unresolved questions and any relevant documents. A visit helps assess fit; it does not establish ownership, approvals or structural safety.
This guide helps you organise questions. It is not a property-specific valuation, legal opinion or recommendation to buy.
